Warden Monthly: March Updates

Tech and Developer Updates

SPEX Series and Peer-Reviewed Paper

In March, Warden Protocol launched the SPEX Series with two important articles focused on Statistical Proof of Execution (SPEX). These articles dive into how SPEX ensures the integrity of AI outputs by protecting against dishonest operators and compromised infrastructure.

These articles set the stage for understanding how SPEX can be used to ensure verifiable, accountable outputs from AI systems. You can read the full paper here: https://arxiv.org/abs/2503.18899

Other tech updates

  • AVRs: Off-Chain Compute with On-Chain Verification

The development of AVRs (Asynchronous Verifiable Results) is progressing well, providing a solution for running complex computations off-chain while ensuring results are securely verified on-chain. This framework helps overcome blockchain's computational limitations and will enable secure, scalable decentralized AI applications.

  • MCP Server Walkthrough

A demonstration of the MCP server with the Claude Desktop app showcased how users can check their testnet WARD balance. This highlighted the potential for developers to integrate with models like Anthropic or GPT to build Warden apps or AI agents, emphasizing the ease of creating decentralized AI applications.

How AI Can Improve the Crypto UX Problem

Crypto struggles with a poor user experience, causing new users to abandon transactions 3/4 times. With multiple apps, failed transactions, and confusing interfaces, it's clear the space needs simplification. The Warden App, coming soon, will solve this, with AI to handle the technical details, and consolidating the entire crypto stack into one app. No more tutorials or frustration—just a seamless experience for everyone, even your grandma.

Messari Report Publication

Warden Protocol was featured in a recent report by Messari Crypto, providing a comprehensive overview of our progress in bringing AI on-chain. The report highlights our mission, key developments, and the unique technologies behind Warden Protocol, including the Warden Agent Kit (WAK) for building AI agents directly on smart contracts. We are excited to have our journey captured in this insightful piece.

Ecosystem Partnerships

Warden Protocol formed several strategic partnerships in March:

These collaborations focus on expanding verified AI agents, AI monetization, and cross-chain AI applications.

The Wardens Ambassadorship Program

March also marked the launch of The Wardens, our new Ambassadorship Program. The program, which started with the Genesis Collective, allows participants to promote Warden Protocol, engage with the community, and earn rewards. This initiative aims to build a dedicated group of ambassadors advocating for Warden across various platforms.

  • More than 650 applications recorded

  • More than 80 ambassadors selected (and more to be soon!)

  • 14 countries (so far)
