Agentic Finance Needs a Warden

All financial markets are coming onchain
Tokenization is no longer an experiment. Wall Street has quietly, and now suddenly, embraced the prospect of 24/7 markets.
In March, Nasdaq won SEC approval to trade tokenized stocks and ETFs alongside traditional shares. In July, DTCC ran its first live tokenized trades, and on 28 October its service went live covering the Russell 1000, the major index ETFs and US Treasuries, designed with more than 50 firms including BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Citadel Securities, NYSE and Robinhood. Tokenized gold traded $90.7B in the first quarter of 2026 alone, more than in all of 2025.
Around $39B of real-world assets already live onchain. Behind them sits more than $100 trillion in equities, bonds and commodities that is slowly, but surely coming onchain.
Stocks, Treasuries, gold, credit will all become tokens that trade 24/7, settle in seconds and plug straight into ancillary lending and yield products.
Markets that never close need traders that never sleep.
Agents will run the money
No human can watch a 24/7 market across thousands of assets on a dozen chains, rebalance a portfolio at 3am, or move idle cash to the best yield every hour. Agents can.
The biggest names in finance already know it. Coinbase gave agents wallets in February. Robinhood opened its platform to agents in May, then built trading agents into its app in September. Visa and Mastercard opened their card networks to agents.
And agents won't stop at trading. They will do everything a finance team does:
Trade tokenized stocks, commodities and crypto.
Earn yield on idle balances, moving between vaults as rates change.
Lend and borrow against tokenized collateral.
Pay for data, compute and services, machine to machine.
Hedge and rebalance to a strategy, around the clock.
Manage treasuries for people, DAOs and companies.
That is agentic finance. Agents running the financial lives of their users, onchain, across every asset and every market.
The Grok Bot moment
OpenClaw sparked the interest of the market. In January it passed 100,000 GitHub stars in about two months, and developers everywhere started running personal agents on their own machines.
Then Grok bot made it even easier. No install, no setup, no terminal. You tag it in a post and it acts. Agents stopped feeling like a developer toy and became something anyone on X uses with very little complexity.
That was the moment it clicked for us. We don't need to build the agent. Excellent agents already exist, and people already live with them: Grok bot, Hermes, Claude Code, Dots, Muse, Kohai, OpenClaw, and more every month. They can reason, plan and act. What none of them has is a safe way to manage money.
And the more consumer agents become, the more that matters. A developer running an agent on their own machine probably knows what a private key is and what can go wrong. Someone using one of the many consumer agents doesn’t, and shouldn't have to. As users get less technical, they get less aware of the risks. Safety can't be a setting someone has to find. It has to be the default.
So Warden stopped competing to build the best agent and became what every agent is missing: the plug-and-play agentic financial layer, secure by default. Connect any agent to Warden and it becomes a financial agent.
Agents bring intelligence. Warden helps you manage money, safely.

Smart agents can be fooled
More than 330 crypto hacks have been recorded in 2026 so far, with $1.25B stolen in the third quarter alone. The first half of the year set a record for the number of incidents.

Agents add a new kind of attack. Nobody breaks the code. They talk the agent into it, or poison what it reads.
In May, someone sent an AI agent on X a prompt written in Morse code. The agent decoded it and moved roughly $150,000 to $200,000 in tokens out of its wallet. No smart contract bug. Just an agent following instructions it shouldn't have.
In April, researchers found services sitting between users and AI models injecting malicious tool calls and stealing credentials. One drained a researcher's test wallet.
Every day, honeypots, copycat tokens and wash-traded volume wait for anyone who reads raw onchain data. They fool people. They fool agents faster, because an agent reads everything and has no gut feeling.
An agent's intelligence is its attack surface. Anything smart enough to follow instructions is smart enough to follow the wrong ones.
Even the biggest platforms handing agents the keys put the risk on the user. That is not good enough for agentic finance.
Don't trust your agent. Control it with rules.
You can't make an agent impossible to fool. So, make it impervious to attacks through rules.
We think of this as zero trust, applied to agents. Don't trust the agent, the prompt, the model or the data feed. Trust a small set of rules the agent can't argue with, enforced somewhere it can't tamper with.
The best way to trust your agent is to not need to. Here is how Warden does it.
Important things like keys never leave the enclave. Every Warden agent wallet is a TEE wallet. Sounds complicated, and it is - the private key is generated inside a trusted execution environment and split into two encrypted shares. It is only rebuilt inside the enclave, for the moment it takes to sign, then discarded. Importantly - the agent never sees it. Neither does Warden.
The agent gets a session key, not the wallet. A session key lets the agent ask the wallet to sign, only within the rules you set. Remove it with one tap and the agent loses access instantly.
Every request passes two layers of rules before anything is signed.
Hard limits, enforced inside the enclave. Which chains the agent can use, which contracts it can touch, which addresses it can send to, how much per trade, how much per day. No approvals it shouldn't give. No key export.
Smart limits, enforced by Warden. We’ve built comprehensive rules so you can sleep easily at night. Minimum safety scores for tokens, token allow and block lists, dollar budgets, maximum slippage, maximum share of the wallet in one token, and "ask me first" above a threshold.

Clean data in. Scam tokens, honeypots and copycats are filtered out before the agent ever reasons about them.
A human in charge. A full record of what the agent did, approvals for big moves, and an off switch.
Take the Morse code attack. With a Warden recipient allowlist, that transfer would never have been signed, whatever the agent was told.
Built for agents. Open to everyone.
Everything Warden builds starts with one question: what does an agent need to act safely with money? The answer turns out to be what people need too. So every piece of agent infrastructure we ship also gets a human door.

Built so agents can... | What you get |
|---|---|
Avoid honeypots and copycat tokens | An 18-check safety scan on every token in the Token Terminal |
Trade without holding gas | Gasless swaps on Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain, paid with whatever you hold |
Read clean, verified market data | Prices and charts you can trust, scams left out |
Follow what actually makes money | Top Cooks: the most profitable wallets, ranked by real PnL |
Act without ever holding a key | Sign in with email or a passkey, and keep your keys |
Stay inside hard limits | The same guardrails, protecting your own wallet |
Racing teams build for the track, and the same engineering ends up in road cars. Warden builds for agents, and you, a human, get the same tooling in an app anyone can open.
It works the other way too. Every person trading on the Token Terminal puts real volume through the same rails the agents operate on. Agents get access to market infrastructure that works.
The Token Terminal is where you watch your agent, set its limits and approve its big moves. One account, one wallet, same data, same rules.

We have done this before. And we ship fast.
Warden did not discover agentic finance this year. We built one of the largest agentic wallets in crypto, the Warden App, and put agents to work onchain for millions of users: research, swaps, cross-chain transfers, portfolio management and trading.
The last two months show the pace we now build at.
Warden Token Terminal. Launched on Base, BNB Chain and Robinhood Chain. One place to discover, check and trade tokens, tokenized stocks and RWAs, gasless, with an 18-check safety scan on every token, Top Cooks and easy card funding.
Arc, then Solana. Two more chains added within weeks of launch.
Launchpad. Anyone can launch their own token from the Token Terminal.
MEV protection. Every swap is shielded from front-running and sandwich attacks, so neither you nor your agent loses value to bots on the way in or out.
Session keys with guardrails. Agents trade onchain through Warden without ever holding a private key, inside per-trade and daily limits. Today the limits are set by Warden. Fully customizable rules for every user are next on the roadmap.
MCP connectivity. Any agent that speaks MCP can now use all of the Token Terminal's data and trading across every chain. This is the first piece of the agent stack, and it is live.
WARD 2.0. WARD migrated to Base, with support from all the exchanges that list it. New bridging routes make WARD an omnichain token, moving freely across the chains where agents and traders already are. New staking contracts issue sWARD, a transferable staking token that keeps earning while it moves, and that will play a central role in what Warden builds next.
A bigger team. We grew marketing and growth to be ready for the next phase.
Eight major deliveries in roughly two months. That is the pace set for the next six months.

The roadmap: Wardening agentic finance
By April 2027, any agent (Grok Bot, Claude, Kohai, Hermes - anything!), transacting on any chain, can trade, earn and pay with real money, and never do anything its owner didn't allow.
That is the end state of the next six months. We get there in three chapters, each one a new layer of the stack that agentic finance runs on:
The Guard. Every agent gets a wallet it can use but never steal from, and rules it can't break.
The Shield. Every agent sees clean data, every transaction is checked before it happens, and money works beyond trading.
The Network. Agents get identities and track records, owners run fleets of them, and every major agent plugs into Warden in one click.

Chapter 1. November to December: The Guard
Every agent gets a wallet it can use but never steal from.

Warden Agent Wallet. Any agent, instant access to a TEE wallet in seconds. Grok bot, Hermes, Claude Code or your own: connect it and it holds a session key, never a private key. Today this takes a simple hands-on integration. After this chapter, anyone can do it with a click of a button.
Warden Guard. The rulebook for your agent, written by you. Start from a preset (Conservative, Balanced, Degen, Yield only) and shape it: budgets per trade and per day, which chains, which contracts, which addresses, which tokens. Every user gets their own rules, and the hard limits are enforced inside the enclave where no agent can reach them. It comes with:
Tighten instantly, loosen carefully. Stricter rules apply right away. Looser rules need your passkey. The agent can never touch its own rules.
Kill switch. One tap and every agent is locked out. Funds stay put.
The record. Every action your agent took, every rule it passed, every rule that stopped it.
Warden MCP, guarded. MCP already gives agents the Token Terminal's data and trading across every chain. Now agents can read their own limits too, and when a move is blocked they get a clear reason they can act on ("daily budget reached, $38 left"). Agents built on Warden behave better than agents built anywhere else.
Proof of Burn. A public, live view of fees earned, WARD bought and WARD burned. Every number is verifiable onchain.
Chapter 2. January to February: The Shield
Every agent sees the clean market data, every move is checked first, and money moves beyond just trading.

Warden Shield. A protective layer between your agent and the onchain world.
Safety as a rule. "Only buy tokens that pass every check." Our 18-check scan stops being advice an agent might ignore and becomes a wall it can't cross.
Simulation before signing. Every transaction is played out before it is signed. If the result isn't what the agent intended, it never happens. Malicious contracts and bad routes are caught before they cost a cent.
Clean by default. Honeypots, copycats and manipulated volume are filtered out before an agent ever reasons about them.
Warden Data. The intelligence behind the Token Terminal, sold to every agent in the world. Prices, safety scores, holder data and what the Top Cooks are doing, paid per call in USDC over x402. No accounts, no subscriptions. An agent buys exactly what it needs, the moment it needs it.
Warden Earn. Agentic finance is more than trading. Idle balances earn in vetted vaults and lending markets, inside limits the owner sets and the enclave enforces. Your agent's idle USDC never sits idle again. Earn is already live in the Token Terminal; this chapter brings it fully to agents through Warden MCP.
Warden Mobile. Native iOS and Android apps. Your agent works around the clock, and you watch it, shape its rules and step in from your pocket. Trading yourself is one tap away.
The WARD flywheel, automated. A burn contract takes a fixed, published share of every fee and buys and burns WARD on a schedule. No one presses a button. Anyone can verify it. Alongside it, WARD becomes your key to more: lower fees, higher agent limits, more data calls and discounted analysis for holders and stakers.
Chapter 3. March to April: The Network
Agents get identities and reputations, owners run fleets, and every major agent plugs in.

Warden ID. Every Warden-guarded agent gets an onchain identity under ERC-8004, the Ethereum standard for agents, still a draft but with identities already live on mainnet. Its track record and its guardrails travel with it. For the first time you can ask of any agent: who is it, how has it performed, and what rules does it operate under?
The Agent Leaderboard. Top Cooks, for agents. Ranked by real PnL, with every agent's rules public. The best agents in agentic finance, proven onchain, not by marketing.
Warden Command. Mission control for owners who run more than one agent.
Fleets. Several agents under one account, each with its own wallet, budget and rules. One earns yield, one trades, one pays the bills.
Ask me first. Anything above your threshold, a new token or a new protocol waits for your approval on your phone. The agent pauses. You decide.
Strategy templates. One tap to launch "Conservative stablecoin yield" or "Base memecoin scout, $50 a day max", with the right guardrails built in.
Every agent, one click. Direct, one-click connections for the agents people already use: Grok bot, Hermes, Claude Code, OpenClaw and more. You shouldn't need a developer to make your agent a financial agent.
WARD at the center. Stakers get Warden Command, advanced guardrails and the highest limits. Verified by Warden reviews and Launchpad fees are partly paid in WARD and burned. Discretionary burns follow a published policy, announced after the fact.
Beyond April: the Warden of agentic finance
Six months builds the stack. What comes after is where we extend from assets to entire markets.
Every tokenized market. As tokenized stocks, Treasuries and commodities go live across chains, Warden-guarded agents trade, earn and borrow against all of them from one place.
Agents paying agents. Agents buying data, compute and services from each other, settled onchain, every payment inside its owner's rules.
Treasuries on autopilot. DAOs and companies handing day-to-day treasury management to agents, with Warden as the risk desk that never sleeps.
Warden Guard everywhere. Our guardrails offered to other wallets, apps and agent platforms, so any agent anywhere can be bound by rules its owner trusts.
Wherever an agent touches money, Warden stands guard.
Every agent action feeds WARD
Agents act more often than people do, and they never sleep.
Every trade through Warden carries a fee. Every Data API call is paid. Every vault position shares a slice of its yield. All of it flows to the same place: a share buys WARD on the open market and burns it.
More agents. More activity. Less WARD.

The automated burn contract makes it predictable. The public dashboard makes it verifiable. And WARD utility gives holders and stakers better limits, lower fees and more access across everything Warden builds.
Agentic finance needs a Warden
Every market is coming onchain. Agents will manage money and assets. And the agents that are already here, are already being taken advantage of.
Instead of competing for the agent market, Warden is built for the entire ecosystem of agents. We make every agent a financial agent, and we make sure it can only do what it’s allowed to.
Bring your agent. We'll give it a wallet, access to all markets and a Warden.
Your agent acts. Warden guards.
